Relative with large driveway on Kensington Road suddenly very popular

PARKDALE — Chuck McLeod (or maybe MacRae — check into that), your father’s cousin’s husband’s father-in-law, has recently become very popular with members of his extended extended family.

“It’s always good to hear from the… How are we related again?” asked the retired sales clerk. “I get a lot of calls and pop-in visits around this time of year. It’s sometimes hard to keep everyone straight.”

Charles — Chuck to those closest to him — says it is likely due to being near the end of summer, where everyone wants to come by and see his double-wide, extra long driveway.

“September is right around the corner, and kids are back to school soon. It’s good to see my cousin’s neighbour’s nephew’s friends every year on or around the third weekend in August. Specially the Sardy. They’re always very polite about asking if it’s OK to park there too.”

“Yeah, I love visiting ol’ Charlie,” says Sam Gallant. “He’s definitely my favourite… relative,” added Gallant, after making a quick call to his parents to ask how they are related to MacLeod.

“The fact that he’s right across the street from Red Shores? Total coincidence!” says Gallant.

At press time, MacLeod was seen directing more visitors to park their cars on his lawn.
