WEST ROYALTY – According to your father, who heard from his co-worker, who heard from their sister, who overheard this being discussed at a local barber shop, a new grocery store is being built just up around the corner from where your cousin lives.
You know, your cousin Gary. Up around there.
According to your father, who has not verified this information, the grocery store will be “Bigger than the one in town, but not so big that there’s too much fancy cheese.”
Also, the grocery store may or may not have a gas station attached, which would be convenient for your cousin, since he bought a car last year.
Although no construction is underway, and the rumored area is still woodland, your father is quite convinced that your cousin Gary’s neighborhood will be having a grocery store “before the snow flies next year.”
“My sources are never wrong,” added your father. “They’re just not right at the right time.”
When reached for comment, your cousin Gary knew of no such development, but is open to the idea “As long as it doesn’t mess up traffic or nothing” for his commute to work. He’s also heard rumours of a CostCo.
