FORT AUGUSTUS — Helena, your youngest brother’s new girlfriend, really hit it off with the extended family at Christmas dinner, says your mom during the annual post-holiday debriefing.
“She seemed really nice, and didn’t mind sitting beside Justin’s high chair,” said your mother. “She even offered to help with the dishes.”
“I mean, she didn’t follow through, but it was nice that she offered.”
Your brother agrees. “She laughed at the right times, she didn’t bring up the fact that the turkey was dry, and she went along with our inside jokes. She’s good,” said your older brother. “I hope she’s around for Easter.”
When asked for a comment, Helena said she “had a good time” over the holidays, but that she needed some space after having spent so much time with the family.
