CHARLOTTETOWN — The March of the Humans, a response to the long-running artistic celebration March of the Crows, will be taking place this weekend, as announced by a press release from several dozen Victoria Park crows.
In a section of the release translated by The Islander from common Corvid, the March of the Humans is “a celebration [of the] humans [that] occupy Victoria Park [from] time to time.”
Crows from across the Island are invited to join in a parade that will travel from Province House to their roosting grounds at the woods of Victoria Park.
“Dress like human. Bring jobs and work and bills. Take shinies, show shinies,” says another passage of the release. “Be human, wear human costume. Celebrate human. Walk like human on human legs.”
A further section states that the march will end with a ritual of merciless, violent defecation on any cars that are parked nearby.
