EAST ROYALTY — Your uncle Clyde Harris, who lives in an apartment in Burlington, Ontario, texted to ask if you are currently on the Holiday Express (sic), the ferry stuck between the Island and Nova Scotia.
“You’re not on that now are you?”

“I heard it on the news today that there was a fire and it was stuck in the ice,” says Harris. “You’re not on that now are you?”
”You should stay safe,” he offered. “If you need to get to the mainland, you can take that bridge you have. Is it still up?”
Harris, who once visited your family for a week in 1989 and has not ventured east of Montreal since 2007, also suggested that the boat should be evacuated, and the passengers can walk to Charlottetown or Summerville or whichever city is closest.
At press time, Harris followed up by asking if you remember that time when he took you to Rainbow Valley when you were 7 and you peed your pants.
