Island grandmothers agree: you should probably take a coat in case you catch a chill

WELLINGTON — Citing weather forecasts, the look of the weather out there, and reports from their friend Muriel who went down to shops earlier, Island grandmothers agree that you should bring a little coat if you’re going out in case you catch a chill.

Just a little one, not your big winter one.

“Some chilly!”

Muriel, your grandmother’s friend

The weather is, according to Muriel, “Some chilly,” and coupled with the wind that has a bite to it, you’ll want to take a hat too. Just in case.

Mitts aren’t needed though. It’s not that cold yet.

Island grandmothers also state that wool socks will keep you toasty, but you probably don’t need your big winter boots, unless you were going stomping somewhere.

Also, if you’re out, Island grandmothers recommend you pick up some chicken soup at the store, because nothing is better on a blustery day than a nice cup of chicken soup.
