CHARLOTTETOWN — Weather forecasters agree — this weekend, she’s gonna be some slick out there.
Recommendations include takin’ ‘er easy on the roads, not givin’ ‘er too hard on yer way to town, and goin’ right soft on the brakes if you need to stop.
[Y]ou’re gonna be slippin’ like you got on old skates at an Abbies game at the ol’ Forum.
There’s dirt comin’ too, as if havin’ friggin’ greasy roads aren’t bad enough. They’re sayin’ there’s gonna be like 5 centimetres or so before Sunday.
If you have to go anywheres — like to the Legion or out for a Sunday cruise to get some air — don’t go more than like 40 clicks or so, or you’re gonna be slippin’ like you got on old skates at the ol’ Forum after an Abbies game.
If you’re gonna walk anywheres, just remember that the sidewalks are some awful slippy and treacherous. Take yer time! It’s the weekend, youse got nowheres to go!
Sand trucks are already out ‘n’ about, and plows’ll be gettin’ out sooner or later.
S’pposed to be better on Monday though. Figures, can’t have good weather on the weekend, though, right?
Long range forecast says she’s gonna be nice by like May, so get used to it for the next little while.
